Games Are A Way Of Life

One of the loves of my life is board games. Now, I don't mean your usual Monopoly, Risk, or even Trivial Pursuit. You'll have to think Beyond Monopoly for this.

I love Power Grid, Ticket to Ride, Battle Lore, Age of Steam, and countless others. I have 338 games in my collection now.

I never imagined that I would ever own more than a dozen games of any type, whether that be digital or physical, but now I own so many. I never tout the number of games to brag, but I do so in amazement of just how much this hobby has grown on me and my family.

One of my favorite online haunts is Board Game Geek, and if anything that I have said so far interests you, then that's a good place to start.

A New World

At one time, they used call these blogs Home Pages. Before that, they used to be a dial-in service called BBS.

Bulletin boards are like the dinosaurs: They're totally extinct. The "internet" saw to that. Even personalized web pages have begun to take a back seat to blogs.

So here I am, someone who's been around the digital block a few times, finally delving into the Great Blog Sea.
